This page explains how individual scores, attempt status and student success stories are checked and presented on the Apex website.
Published result claims are matched to the student-level records available to Apex. Scores, exam parts, attempt status and student stories are displayed only where the relevant evidence and publication permission are available.
A first-attempt outcome means the student's first sitting of the relevant CMA exam part after preparation in the applicable Apex program, based on the student-level records available to Apex. Repeaters who attempted a part before joining Apex are not described as first-attempt candidates for that part.
Apex maintains the candidate, exam part, exam window, attempt status and outcome used in the cohort calculation.
Apex retains result records and publishes selected student photos, scaled scores and result evidence with appropriate permission.
Published student results demonstrate individual outcomes; they do not predict or guarantee another student's result. Outcomes depend on preparation, participation, practice, exam performance and other factors. Result records and student stories are updated as further verified evidence becomes available.
Ask the Apex counsellor to explain the current cohort base and show the available supporting result evidence. Public testimonials and reviews support trust, but they are not substitutes for the student-level result records used in this calculation.
